Spain
A 4-day trip to Seville
Seville is Andalusia at its hottest and most beautiful — flamenco, orange trees, and tapas late into the night.
Seville is the soul of southern Spain — the Alcázar, flamenco, and tapas bars that fill at midnight. Go in spring; summer is brutal. Walk the Santa Cruz quarter and stay out late.

What your 4-day plan includes
- A day-by-day itinerary with neighborhoods clustered so you spend less time in transit.

How to plan 4 days in Seville
- Book your Royal Alcázar timed-entry ticket for the 9:30 AM slot before the tour buses descend on the Courtyard of the Maidens.
- Stay in Barrio Santa Cruz or El Arenal if you want to walk to dinner and never touch a cab; pick Alameda de Hércules if you prefer unvarnished bars over postcard views.
- Do not try to tour the Cathedral and the Alcázar back-to-back on the same afternoon; your energy will crater under the sensory load.
- Pair Seville with Córdoba via the 45-minute Renfe high-speed train rather than moving hotels for a single night.
- Respect the 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM heat shutdown; retreat to your hotel or an air-conditioned museum, then stay out past 11:00 PM like the locals.
