A 7-day trip to Pattaya
Pattaya is Bangkok's beach escape — loud and developed, with quieter islands a boat ride away.
Pattaya is a quick beach getaway from Bangkok — developed and party-focused, but the nearby islands (Koh Larn) offer cleaner sand. Come for nightlife or as a stop; serious beachgoers head elsewhere.

What your 7-day plan includes
- A day-by-day itinerary with neighborhoods clustered so you spend less time in transit.
- Real budget awareness — a target, an estimate, and a status you can dial up or down.
- Recommendations shaped by your pace, food priorities, group, and must-dos.
- Swap anything, improve any day, refine in any direction without starting over.

How to plan 7 days in Pattaya
- Base yourself in Jomtien or Wongamat if you want quiet mornings, and use Bolt to drop into Central Pattaya only when you want nightlife.
- Pair Pattaya with Bangkok as a low-effort weekend escape; do not combine it with southern islands like Samui or Phuket, which offer far superior beaches.
- Dedicate one morning solely to the Sanctuary of Truth—allow 2.5 hours and dress respectfully with covered shoulders and knees.
- Catch the 9:00 AM or earlier ferry to Koh Larn to claim shaded loungers on Tien Beach before tour boats arrive around 11:00 AM.
- Leave Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons out of your Bangkok highway transit to avoid brutal weekend getaway traffic.
