A 10-day trip to Mallorca
Mallorca is more than the package holiday — a capital city, mountain villages, and coves the crowds miss.
Mallorca is the biggest Balearic and far more than resorts — Palma's cathedral, the Tramuntana mountains, and hidden calas. Rent a car, get out of the package strips, and you'll find the real island.

What your 10-day plan includes
- A day-by-day itinerary with neighborhoods clustered so you spend less time in transit.
- Real budget awareness — a target, an estimate, and a status you can dial up or down.
- Recommendations shaped by your pace, food priorities, group, and must-dos.
- Swap anything, improve any day, refine in any direction without starting over.

How to plan 10 days in Mallorca
- Base yourself in Palma Old Town or Santa Catalina if you want late dinners and zero driving stress, then rent a car for just 1–2 days of your stay.
- Split a 5-day trip into two bases: 2 nights in Palma to soak in culture and food halls, followed by 3 nights in a Tramuntana mountain village or a southern finca near Santanyí.
- Do not attempt Sa Calobra and Cap de Formentor on the same day; both require demanding serpentine driving and need slow half-day commitments.
- Book Ca's Patro March in Cala Deià and top tables like El Olivo weeks ahead; walk-ins during summer and shoulder season are routinely turned away.
- Visit popular southwest and southeast coves either before 9:00 AM or after 5:00 PM to skip brutal midday parking queues and baking sun.
