  • Pair Huacachina with Paracas (one hour north) to combine the marine wildlife of the Ballestas Islands with desert boarding in a seamless 48-hour transit loop.
  • If staying on a weekend, pick accommodations on the quiet southwestern side of the lagoon or in residential Ica if you need undisturbed sleep, as hostel pool parties run late.
