How to plan 5 days in Agadir, Morocco

  • Stay in Secteur Touristique if you want immediate barefoot access to the sand, or book Taghazout if your trip centers on surf breaks rather than city comforts.
  • Pair Agadir with Marrakech: spend 3 high-intensity days in the Marrakech medina, then take the 3-hour highway drive down to Agadir to decompress by the Atlantic.
  • Don't try to visit both Paradise Valley and the fortified walled town of Taroudant on the same day; they lie in opposite directions and mountain roads demand slow driving.
  • Visit Souk El Had between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM on weekday mornings to avoid both the afternoon heat and large weekend crowds (note: closed Mondays).
